Meet our new Studio Manager, Sam
Why did you start yoga?
To help counteract the damage I was doing with long days sitting at a desk for my job, plus I was in a job that was extremely high pressure, and I was looking for something that was going to help with my stress and anxiety levels.
What do you love most about yoga?
How I feel afterwards – I always feel as relaxed and limber as I do after a good massage. Plus, it’s less expensive, and the benefits of a regular practice last much longer!

What are you looking forward to the most about being the Studio Manager?
Oh, there’s so much I am looking forward to, but first and foremost, I am so excited to be helping people discover the benefits of using a yoga practice for stress and anxiety management. Especially for those who are feeling burnt out, overwhelmed and just needing to carve out some regular self-care time (especially after the last year we’ve all experienced!)
What do you want people to know about you?
I love meeting new people as I believe everyone has something interesting (a life story, a unique skill set, a great sense of humour) to share!
I hope my role at Cultivate Calm Yoga can be someone who everyone feels comfortable coming and talking to – I’m always up for a coffee/tea and a chat. Also, stay tuned for some fun and exciting social club events! I have lots of ideas, and I can’t wait to get started.
