Imagine how you’d feel if you practiced yoga regularly? Feeling calm, relaxed, at ease. And picture yourself sleeping better, having more energy and feeling stronger and more flexible.

Sounds ideal doesn’t it? The catch is, you have to start and we will support and guide you through your first yoga steps. This 5 Week Course starts at the beginning and builds the foundations so that you can practice yoga with confidence in mind and body.

It runs once a week on Saturdays for 5 weeks.

This course will make you see and experience yourself differently. Attendees will finish the course with confidence in their body, knowledge of the yoga poses and relaxation and breathing techniques that may stay with you for life.

We will explore yoga the meaning of yoga and yoga philosophy to give you a new perspective on life and how this powerful system for healing can have a profound effect on your life.

We will help you find correct alignment, help you build strength and develop your flexibility so that you will feel strong and confident in your yoga class.

The course is run as a sequence, with each class building upon the previous. Ideally, you should attend each class.

This is the most comprehensive Beginner’s Yoga Course in Brisbane.

This includes a FREE  5 class yoga pass that you can use at any time.

Week 1 – Breathing and sun salutations

Week 2 – Standing poses

Week 3 – Balance and strength

Week 4 – Bringing it all together

Week 5 – Going deeper

    The classes were small & individualised, the atmosphere was calm & friendly. Both Nic, and her assistant Chris, were knowledgeable and available for individual support. The classes weren’t just focused on how to move your body, though that was part of it, but more on the important connection between mind, body & breathe – something Cultivate Calm is very good at maintaining in all of their classes
